Welcome to the official website of the Malta Equestrian Federation (MEF). The MEF is a full member of the Federation Equestre International (FEI).

Equestrianism may not be the most well known, or understood, sport practiced across the Maltese Islands, but equestrian sports are alive and kicking in Malta! The MEF brings Maltese riding schools together - under one official structure - and gives all local riders the opportunity to pursue equestrian sports in a professional manner.

The Malta Equestrian Federation was set up in 1999, with the main aim of promoting the professional development of equestrian sports in Malta, while attracting and developing new talent. The disciplines represented by the Malta Equestrian Federation are show jumping, dressage, eventing, driving, endurance, reining and vaulting.

This website acts a simple yet informative guide to equestrian sports in Malta, explaining what has been achieved to date and more importantly - the way forward.
